Hi friends,
November is just a couple of weeks away! And in November I am hosting another mandala stitchalong. I’m really looking forward to it!
The patterns in this stitchalong has a stars + flowers + snowflakes + folk art sort of flavour. Just my kind of thing. Maybe yours too? :-)
Sign up here for the November stitchalong. You will get 4 patterns plus a bunch of extra motifs that go with, or are inspired by, the main patterns. Perfect for making some Midwinter (Christmas, ahem) presents or decorations.
Here’s a little sneak peek. I started stitching one of the patterns, just a wee bit, so I could share a stitchy picture… :-D
I hope you will join me for the no-pressure stitchalong!
And I hope you have a nice weekend.
x Carina
Some Things I Enjoyed This Week
I picked my album for October. Vapen & ammunition by the Swedish band Kent. It’s not a new to me album, but I felt like listening to an old friend you might say.
I got a new sewing machine! It is very fancy and I am still getting to know how it works. My favourite bit about it so far is that the throat space is larger than on my old machine so it will be easier to wrangle large quilts through it. I should make a quilt to test it! :-D
My 2021 Temperatures embroidery project is a bit behind because I got kind of bored with doing the same stitch. But this week I have been doing two or three each evening and I’m quite enjoying that. :-)
