Hello friends,
It’s been one of those weeks. I’ve been really busy but haven’t got much to show for it. And time has felt particularly wibbly wobbly. On Tuesday I was convinced that it was Thursday. I think today is finally Friday, but who knows. Maybe it’s actually only Wednesday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway. I thought I’d send you something pretty, so I made a pattern for you. I called it Tulips And Stars. I hope you like it. You can download it here.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Carina xx
PS If you want to learn embroidery I now have an online class for that, check it out here.
Some Things I Enjoyed This Week
I did a bit of raw edge appliqué this week. I haven’t done much of that in a while. I love it. Just take some scraps of fabric and make some kind of picture without a plan or a pattern. Adding stitches. I love hand stitching. :-)
On our evening walk the other day the sun was out! It has been cold and cloudy and wet a lot lately. I need some warmth and light. It doesn’t feel very much like spring. But that evening it was sunny and I took lots of pictures of flowers.
I treated myself to a (digital) copy of the 100th issue of Selvedge magazine. It is such a lovely magazine. I’m reading it slowly, savouring the pictures and articles.
