The other day I shared a few more pages of my 100 day project on my blog. The project is almost at an end! Today is day 94. And once the project pages are done, I will put them all together in a textile book. I’m so looking forward to holding the actual finished book in my hands. :-)
On Monday we took Blake for a walk in the nearby woods and it was full of cow parsley and buttercups. It was beautiful!
I have been working on more motifs for the Pattern Lab. I love the process of drawing a simple thing, maybe put it together with another simple thing and seeing what comes out of it. I drew these two flowers this week and they will appear in motifs that are scheduled for August. Look at me being prepared! :-D
I make a few motifs at a time, it wouldn’t be very effective to make them one at a time. And usually when I make one motif, it will spark another and so on. It’s best to keep going when you are on a roll! :-)

With a bit of luck, I will finally finish my Beltane embroidery this weekend. And then, before long, it will almost be time for the next festival in the Wheel of The year. Midsummer. This time, between Beltane and Midsummer, is probably my favourite in the year. Everything is lush and green, there is a fair bit of sun but it’s not too hot… :-)

Some Things I Am Enjoying
Book: Equal Rites* by Terry Pratchett. Believe it or not, I have never read a Terry Pratchett book. Apart from Good Omens. Recently I got into my head that maybe I should rectify that… I believe the Discworld books can be read in any order? Do you have any favourites?
Watching: Still Ted Lasso! I’m going to be so sad when the series ends.
