Hejsa!
How are you?
I had written a thing about how despondent and angry I feel about the state of the world and how some people think it’s ok to treat other people but…that’s a bit of a downer for a crafty newsletter and I’m sure you already know that there is a climate disaster unfolding and right wing people are doing their best to make sure that people who are not like them are treated with unkindness.
So we’ll just skim right past that and talk about something a bit more fun, yes?
In a few weeks I am going to Denmark and I am so looking forward to it! It’s been almost a year since my last visit. I have so many plans for my visit, I may need a holiday when I get back home!
I’ll spend 24 hours in Copenhagen (although sadly not seeing my dear friend who lives there because she’ll be away on a movie shoot!) I’ll do some sketching and maybe visit a museum or two.
Then I go ‘home’ to stay with my parents and I’ll take part in a ‘college’ reunion, I’ll be teaching a class, seeing my friends, eating favourite Danish things.
I can’t wait. If I have time I may record some video and stick it on YouTube. Would you be interested in seeing some of Denmark? Copenhagen and Aarhus specifically. Maybe snippets of my train journey between Copenhagen and Aarhus…
Speaking of video, I made one talking about my various works in progress. Well, some of them anyway. I’m sure there are more that I have forgotten about or that I can’t find.. :-D
You can watch the video here: In My Hoop 01.
I hope you have a fun weekend!

Some Things I Am Enjoying
Watching: Good Omens 2. It is good but you can definitely tell that Terry Pratchett wasn’t involved in the writing. It lacks a certain…quirkiness.. Have you watched it?
Music: Rosa himmel song by Molly Sandén. Even if you don’t understand Swedish, I think you will appreciate the song? Stopped me in my tracks when Spotify randomly played it for me… :-)
Interesting: The Historic England Aerial Photo Archive. It is fascinating to see how places have changed over the years. {via}
Useful: Needle guide from John James Needles.

So happy for you that you're having a trip back home. I can't imagine how you must miss it.
