Hejsa!
It has actually started feeling like autumn! The past couple of weeks the temperature has barely dropped below 20°C, some days even getting to the mid-20s and that is unusual for October in England. But now the temperature has dropped and we even had some rain and there is a bit of a storm as I’m writing this, so it feels more normal for autumn now. Maybe I can soon get out my thick cardigans! :-)
Some very good news! I’ll be teaching two classes at SlipStitch in London on December 2nd! I’m very excited about this because I haven’t done much teaching since The Village Haberdashery closed (where I had a regular teaching gig) and I have really missed it.
So if you are in/near London and want to learn embroidery or darning, do check out the classes at SlipStitch here. :-)
New video on YouTube: My embarrassing hexagon wip.
Speaking of YouTube, I haven’t done a very good job of sharing the stitch tutorials I have been sharing there. Currently, there is about 20 stitch tutorials, and I’m adding a new one every week for the time being. Find the stitch tutorials here and if you want to make a sampler like the one I’m making in the videos, you can buy the Alphabet Stitch Sampler pattern here.
Have a lovely weekend!

This afternoon I’ll go in my little studio and turn this into an appliqué. When the world feels like it’s out of sorts, I need to work with my hands… Salaam, Shalom, Peace…
I love how you describe the "star stitch" as your "glitter stitch" for when you need that little something in a design. Your Alphabet sampler is gorgeous Carina.
