Online Embroidery Class!
For beginners and anyone who needs a refresher
Hello friends,
I am finally, finally launching my first online class. I have wanted to do this for a long time, years really, but for one reason or other it never happened. I am so happy to finally do it!
The first class is a beginner embroidery class. I have taught beginner embroidery in person for the past 4-5 years and I absolutely love it. Time to take it online so you can join from anywhere!
The class includes the pattern we will be working on during the class and a recording of the class will be available for you afterwards.
These are the dates/times:
May 26th at 14:00-16:30 UK time
May 30th at 17:30-20:00 UK time
There are only 8 spaces in each class.
The class is suitable for complete beginners or if you tried embroidery years ago and now you can’t remember your back stitch from your French knot. :-)

Some Things I Enjoyed This Week
This may be a controversial opinion: I really like plain digestive biscuits. But I really, really like digestives with dark chocolate. I don’t have them often because once that packet is open, well…it doesn’t last long! :-D
I recently discovered the Haptic & Hue podcast. The podcast “explores the way in which cloth speaks to us and the impact it has on our lives.“
The past couple of months, Tony and I have watched an episode of the Poirot TV series every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.* It’s been interesting to watch every episode. We’d watched the odd episode before, if they were on and we couldn’t be bothered to find something else to watch. I have enjoyed looking at the architecture, clothing etc from the 1920s and 1930s. And it has been kind of a nice escape from ‘real life’. Imagine a world without mobile phones or TVs!
*We signed up for BritBox for six months to watch all the episodes of Poirot and there are a lot of episodes so we have to watch three a week! :-D
