The Wonder of Poppies

Last autumn I finally remembered to scatter the poppy seeds I have been collecting over the past few years. Whenever I spot poppies growing wild, I’ll make a mental note to check back later so I can pick the seed pods. On more than one occasion I have come home from a dog walk with a pocket full of poppy seeds!
