Hey friends,
You know how you get really into a project and it’s all you want to work on?
Well, this little beaded project is one of those times. Couldn’t wait to work on it. Even dreamt about beads at night!! :-D
It is a test for an idea for my 100 day project and I think I can safely say that it is something I want to do more of. And it will definitely be one of the prompts for the 100 day project. So excited!
In the prompt there won’t be a tutorial but I was thinking of maybe making a mini class for how to do this technique. Please comment or send me an email if that’s something you’d be interested in.
For now I have turned this beady stitchery into a brooch so I can wear some delightful colours when I go out. :-)
Spring is here! (Although the recent changing of the clock has made me feel kinda jetlagged…) Here is my finished Spring Equinox motif in the Wheel of The Year stitchalong. As well as Imbolc, of course. :-)
I think I have said it before but it’s still true so it bears repeating, I love having a yearlong project like this. I look forward to each new motif. Last year I hadn’t designed it all beforehand, but this year I have. Which actually makes it even more exciting because although I know the design of each motif, I still have to do the stitching, so it’s like a reveal with each motif. Will the stitched version turn out like the version in my head? :-)
I am looking forward to working on the next motif in the Wheel, in just a few weeks. Maybe you would like to join us? Join the Wheel of The Year stitchalong here - and until April 13th you can save 10% with this code: SPRING .
Have a lovely weekend!

Some Things I Am Enjoying
I have a stack of books from the library but I can’t seem to get any reading done… Maybe because I want to stitch (beady) things and it’s not so easy to do that while reading a physical book! I think I need to see if some of the books are available as audiobooks.
I have been watching/listening to stuff on YouTube. Just searching for various topics and seeing what interesting stuff I can find. History, art, architecture, languages, quilting, embroidery. There are loads of embroidery videos on YouTube! Who knew?! :-)
Leave a comment if you have some stitchy YouTube favourites!
Join the Pattern Lab and get this week’s motif as well as 12 other motifs!
Happy Eadter Carina! Think you already know how much I love your colourful button and bead embroidery but I'm just restating it because it's so beautiful 💛🧡💗💜💙💚
