Hey!
Today is day 80 of the 100 day project. I kinda can’t believe that it’s almost at the end… I’ve enjoyed every bit of it, never even considered stopping. :-)
This is the page I finished yesterday:
The prompt was to be inspired by an artist in some way. Can you guess who* inspired this piece? :-)
You can still join and get my 24 creative, stitchy prompts (it’s just £10). No need to complete it in 100 days. Some of the prompts are more like tutorials. And there will be a video tutorial for one of the last prompts, plus a video about turning all the prompt pages into a textile book. I’m really looking forward to putting it all together.
Not much else stitching happening this week. I have an issue with my right thumb so I have had to do very little stitching to give it a rest. I miss it when I can’t do any embroidery. Hopefully I can get back to it next week.
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
x Carina
*If you guessed Yayoi Kusama you are right! :-)
Some Things I Am Enjoying
Watching: Did I mention Ted Lasso last week? Still enjoying it. One of the best things out there at the moment! :-)
Music: Ghibli Lullabies album by Nikolai Tal. Just delightful quiet piano music.
Food: Scarpaccia. A thin Italian ‘tart’ made with courgettes/zucchini. It is really good. I’ve been using this recipe, if you want to try it.
I have also been enjoying all the spring blossom on my walks with Blake. Here are a few:
Hope your thumb improves soon, would hate to think you weren't able to sew.
