The sixth stitch I have added to my 100 Day Stitch Sampler is the feather stitch. Or rather multiple stitches, since I thought just one ‘pass’ of the stitch was boring, so I layered a few colours. I like it. But it’s not one of my favourite stitches.
The other stitches I have used so far are: Whipped wheel, turkey rug stitch, cloud filling stitch, raised stitch and granito stitch. (That last one is one of my favourites.)
I am using a palette of yellow, oranges, turquoise, blues and pinks. I did consider just using any colour I fancied at any given time, but I think a somewhat limited palette will look nicer. We’ll see, I guess. :-)
(If you want to make a similar project, the template is available here for just £3 until the end of February.)
And now I think I’ll go get comfy somewhere while Storm Eunice does its thing outside. Stay safe!

P.S. Today the German version of my Mandalas to Embroider book is published! It is called Farbenfrohe Mandalas Sticken. I have a few copies of the German version in my shop (unfortunately, I can’t ship to EU countries.)
