In the autumn I ordered a bunch of tulips bulbs and other spring flowers. There were over a hundred bulbs if I recall correctly. About half of them went in the flower bed at the front of our house, the rest in the back garden. Now they have started to come up and because I just put them in the ground wherever, they are a delightful higgledy-piggledy mess of crocus, tulips, anemones and grape hyacinths.
