I admire your dedication to your year-long projects. It must be nice to have something physical to remind you of the year gone by. Unfortunately I never last when I commit to long term projects but am always in awe of people who can. ...And the sun can't return soon enough for me! :)
I never used to be able to stick with those long-term projects for more than a couple of weeks at the most. Not sure why I can all of a sudden! Maybe it's once you've done one, you know you can do it and it becomes kind of a game that you don't want to lose (loose? I never know how to spell the word!). :-D
The lack of sun is especially de-energizing when I walk Blake in the mornings and it's just pitch black. Can't wait for those summer mornings! :-)

I know where you're coming from with once you've done one...may be one day.
Lose is right! Here's something that might remind you; you might lose yourself while trying to untangle all your colourful loose threads.
I can't get out of bed while it's still dark so full marks to you for effort :)
